MEDINA COUNTY Branch, American Association of University Women announces:

If you are a recipe collector, this year’s AAUW Used Book Sale is for you! Cookbooks abound, as do biographies, science fiction, and popular authors. We have a whole room of wonderful children’s books at the 26th annual sale April 10-13 sponsored by the Medina County Branch of the American Association of University Women, at 4895 Grande Shops Ave., Medina. The sales site is the former Portrait Innovations Studio, near FedEx, facing Pearl Rd., directly across from North Gateway Tire and Staples.

​Sale hours will be: Wed. April 10, Thurs., April 11, and Fri., April 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sat., April 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

​During the 4-day event, hundreds of titles will be offered in hardcover, paperback and quality paperback, young adult books and unique collectible and antique books. CD’s, DVD’s, sheet music, audio books and puzzles will also be for sale. Other categories include fiction and non-fiction, mystery and suspense, nature and gardening, history and politics, health and wellness, finance, texts and more. Many books are suitable for home schooling.

​Book sales benefit Medina Branch scholarships for non-traditional women students who are returning to college to complete degrees, for middle school girls to attend AAUW/Ohio BeWISE STEM Camp, the AAUW Funds, and local branch educational projects.

​AAUW is a national non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
