Mitchell R. Griffith, 76, entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2022. He was born October 6, 1946, in Beckley, West Virginia, to the late Wallace and Gladys (nee Pettry) Griffith.
Mitch loved animals, especially his dogs, Dino, Dina, and Foster. He loved being at the auto body shop he owned and operated for many years. He also loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mitch is survived by his wife, Donna (nee Plezia); daughters, Chelsey (Joseph) and Amber (Joe); grandchildren, Mia, Ava, Callen, and Amelia; and sisters, Paulette (Rick), Ginger (Robert), and Theresa. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, William Honaker.
The family will welcome guests from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 pm. He will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am. A Celebration of Mitch’s Life will be held at a later date.
