Maureen A. "Cookie" Davis, 77, passed away February 1, 2023.
She was born in Cleveland on January 19, 1946 to Martin and Loretta Davitt.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronnie Lee Davis; sons, Robert (Jen), John (Leslie), Ryon (Elizabeth), and R.C. (Kirstie); grandchildren, Spencer (Amy), Robbie (Stephanie), Gabrielle, Alexandra, John (Brandon), Jordan (Xavier), Sawyer, Kazen, and Blaklee; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Brynlee, Kai, Kohen, Eden, Savannah, Russell, Randall.
Cookie graduated from West Tech High School in January 1965. She enjoyed camping when her four boys were younger. She loved to travel and play games and cards with friends. Most of all, she loved making her house a home for her husband and four sons. She loved spending time with her family (her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.) She was a friend to everyone she met. Cookie was a Christian and loved the
Lord. She had grown up in Cleveland until moving to Medina in 1977. She loved spending her winters in Florida and just decided to make it her permanent home.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Martin, Mike, Ray, and Pat; sister, Carol; and grandson, Ronnie Jason.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Heartland Community Church, 3400 Weymouth Rd., Medina. Luncheon will follow.
