Martha Emogene (Krafft) Ware passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the age of 88.
Martha was born February 22, 1934 in Hettie, West Virginia, the daughter of Carl A. Krafft and Lona Gladys (Burns) Krafft. She spent her girlhood with her sister, Mabel, within the love of her close knit community and the beauty and wonder of the hills that surrounded her. Her childhood formed the basis for her integrity, her commitment and her compassion. She had a joyous laugh and sense of humor that will remain in our hearts as we seek comfort and inspiration from her memory.
Martha attended Glenville State College and taught school briefly before marrying her husband, Clyde Ware in 1954. They moved to Medina, Ohio and had three children, Marilyn (Stephen) Kuzyk, Roger (Shirley) Ware and Marcia (Stephen) Rybacki.
Martha loved, encouraged and helped guide her children and six grandchildren, Lauren (Mark) Loucas, Stephen Kuzyk, III (Ashley), Russell (Kelli) Ware, Rachel Sammon (Peter Joyce), Kelly (Michael) Reidenbach, and Megan (Ryan) Good. They were blessed to call her grandma.
She was delighted to welcome nine great-grandchildren into our family, Elanora and Stephen Kuzyk, Oliver Ware, Jack, Chase and Lucy Sammon, Thomas, Peter and Daniel Reidenbach.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde in 2012. They lived together in happiness and will rest together in peace.
A private family service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, Ohio. A burial will follow at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, our family invites you to make a charitable donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org or to a charity meaningful to you.
