Inge M. Osman, age 91, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on December 15, 2022. She was born to Philipp and Wilhemine (Fisher) Buchenau on November 13, 1931, in Markershausen, Germany. Inge lived in Germany until age 23. She married Harry M. Austin of Brownsville, Pennsylvania while he was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Afterwards, they came to the US in 1954. Inge was a wonderful homemaker; family was the most important to her. She enjoyed baking and having people over. Inge was a friend to many. She was active in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Medina.
Inge is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard Osman; her children, Jay (Joyce) and Alan (Patty); her grandchildren, James (Anna,) Jason (Lorena,) Andrew, Jacob (Jordan,) and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Oscar, Isabel, and Isla. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Erica Hankins and Heidi Kottke.
Visitation services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St. She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
