COLUMBUS – Lance D. Himes, interim director of the Ohio Department of Health, has released updated Halloween guidance at https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/celebrating-halloween.pdf, urging all Ohioans to use caution and plan ahead for celebrating Halloween amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The guidance released earlier today had a reference to leaving treats in the mailboxes of friends and neighbors, which should not be done. This was from a previous draft of the guidance; it has since been updated.
