Medina County News Money Auditor Kovack Real Estate Tax June 2021

Mike Kovack, Medina County Auditor, today released the following information regarding county finances for the week of June 21 through June 25, 2021.

The largest income sources were from Real Estate Tax in the amount of $11,293,449.37. The Auditor’s Accounting Department issued 483 checks for total expenditures of $2,192,135.97. The Commissioners approved expenditures totaling $7,016,793.53. There was one vendors’ licenses issued.

At this time in 2020, the largest income source was Real Estate Tax in the amount of $19,978,828.25. The Auditor’s Accounting Department issued 448 checks for total expenditures of $7,208,296.11. The Commissioners approved expenditures totaling $6,558,419.39. There was one vendor’s license issued.

There were 94 residential home sales this week. The average sale price for a home in Medina County this week was $231,039.40. The total fees collected for residential transfers was $65,299.30. There were no commercial sales this week.

At this time in 2020, there were 90 residential home sales this week. The average sale price for a home in Medina County this week was $205,302. The total fees collected for transfers was $55,524.70. There were no commercial sales this week.
