If your organization is considering applying for one of the Medina County Arts Council grants, or you have a family member who is looking for scholarship money, it is time for you to complete work on applications. Grant applications are due February 28, 2019, and scholarship forms are due by February 15. Forms and Guidelines are available and may be printed out from our website: www.medinacountyartscouncil.org. All grants will be reviewed in March by a committee of trustees and voted on by the Board in April.

Grant applicants will be notified by May 15 if they have been awarded a grant or not. The requesting non-profit organization must have 501(c) status. Profits from any event or special project of the requesting organization must be used to promote the arts. Be sure reports from former grants have been turned in. Scholarship applicants for the $1,000 one year award do not have to declare a major in the arts to be eligible, but they must have been active in the arts in high school.
