Sept. First Friday: Country Western Night!

Main Street Wadsworth Announces “September First Friday: Country Western Night - Shop Local, Y’all!” on Friday, September 3, 2021, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Dust off your cowboy boots and put on your cowboy hats! Downtown Wadsworth is “going country” for September First Friday! Main Street Wadsworth invites the community downtown for “Country Western Night - Shop Local, Y’all!” on Friday, September 3, 5:30-8:30 p.m. All ages are invited to head to downtown Wadsworth to enjoy an evening of old-fashioned family fun. Country western attire is encouraged!

Make your first stop at the MSW tent next to the centrally-located downtown clock on the square to pick up your “Oregon Trail Gold Rush” adventure card. As you meander along the Oregon Trail, you can stop into participating restaurants and merchants to get some tasty grub and fun provisions.

Your stops will include a country hoedown at the Wadsworth Library and a wild west rodeo adventure for the little ones. A highlight of the evening will be battling your sweet tooth at “Custard’s” Last Stand, where you will have an opportunity to pick up some homemade ice cream. With 22 markers along the trail, cowboys and cowgirls alike will be entertained. Return your completed “Oregon Trail” adventure cards to the MSW table for a chance to win dinner and dessert downtown!

Visitors will experience the sights and sounds of the Old West: country western music, a visit and a photo op with much-loved Toy Story characters Woody and Jessie, photo opportunities, and more.

Over 20 downtown “saloons” (restaurants) and “mercantiles” (retailers) will be open for business and offering delicious food and unique shopping. Downtown businesses and organizations will also be offering activities and specials throughout the event.

Main Street Wadsworth events are made possible by the generous support of Main Street Wadsworth’s Premier Sponsor, Clampco Products, Inc., and with support from The City of Wadsworth. Follow for updates.
