Calling all sleuths! Put on your best detective’s hat. Clean your magnifying glass. And head to downtown Wadsworth for a night filled with mystery and intrigue!
Main Street Wadsworth welcomes the community downtown on March 5, 5:30-8:30 p.m. for March First Friday: “Mystery on Main Street”!
Downtown Wadsworth’s small businesses and organizations have created mystery questions within each of their storefronts. Visitors can stop into participating businesses and try their hand at solving each mystery based on the clues and information provided by each business. Upon solving the mystery, guests will receive a puzzle piece, which they can return to Main Street Wadsworth HQ at Rise and Grind (120 High Street) for a chance to win $100 in downtown gift cards.
While downtown, be on the lookout for our real-life Sherlock Holmes. Of course you can snap a picture with him. If he catches you discovering a clue or solving a mystery, he may reward you with a small token or treat!
All Main Street Wadsworth events are planned with visitor and business safety in mind. Main Street Wadsworth is working with the Medina County Health Department (MCHD) on an ongoing basis to receive guidance for downtown events, and the community is asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Events are subject to change based on MCHD recommendations.
Your favorite downtown businesses will be open and will be offering special promotions as part of the fun! Participating businesses include: Ann’s Pastry Shop, Alexandris Restaurant, Creatively Tagged Boutique, Dolce at the Strand, Kathryn’s Craft Closet, Manic on Main, Opal Dragonfly Boutique, Perfect match Decor, Rise and Grind, Ruby Moon, Sonnets & Zydeco Bistro, The Sub Station, Valley Cafe, Wrench Works, and more.
