Heroes for Hospice Charity Event surpasses event’s wildest expectations of the supporters of the Heroes Campaign.
MEDINA, OH - The 3rd Annual Heroes for Hospice Charity Event with presenting sponsor Fiorilli Construction, Inc. took place September 10 at Hill N’ Dale Club in Medina. The day was filled with fun, clay shooting, raffle prizes, full hearts and great food. Supporting the event and giving back to Hospice of Medina, Medina Family and restaurant owner, Jerry Hackley of JTs BBQ generously brought out their food truck and donated lunch to all the volunteers and participants.
Through community sponsors, donations and event participation, we surpassed our goal of $15,000 and donated $20,000 to Hospice of Medina County. Bringing our three-year total to over $40,500.
“We've all experienced loss at some point in life, but we never really appreciate how much those at Hospice of the Western Reserve shepherd us all throughout until after. About Heroes for Hospice
The Heroes for Hospice Campaign benefiting Hospice of the Western Reserve of Medina County was founded in 2016 after Carmen Fiorilli lost his mother, Christine, to melanoma. It was during the family’s most difficult time they experienced firsthand the work that HMC does for families and the community every day. Since then, many Fiorilli Team Members have been positively impacted by the effort and passion of the unsung Heroes from HMC. Through the Heroes Campaign, not only has the annual fundraiser which has donated over $40,000 to help HMC provide better care for you – our neighbors, friends, and families, but we decorate the grounds of the Medina House for the holidays and find ways to give back other times throughout the year.
