COLUMBUS—The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that Ohio added 5,800 new jobs for November 2018, bringing the yearly total to 106,300. Ohio has added 568,400 new jobs since 2011.

Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) issued the following statement:

"While reports like this focus on numbers and statistics, my Senate colleagues and I know this report represents Ohioans who have found opportunities for themselves and their families. Our policies of reducing regulatory red tape and taxes have helped provide the framework for Ohio's economic recovery. More work needs to be done, and we look forward to working with the new administration in 2019 to build on this progress."
