Medina Sunrise Rotary President Kevin Wermer and Rotary Project Leader Ed Jakubick present a $5,000.00 check to Melissa Hamlin, Director of Development for the Medina County Battered Women's Shelter's new Child Therapy Room.
"Melissa has over 25 years of experience in fund development and marketing for non-profit organizations," stated Kevin Wermer. "She has brought her skills and passion to engaging our community and advancing the mission of the Battered Women's Shelter. She is a leader in the community for the prevention of domestic abuse by providing emergency shelter, advocacy and education throughout Medina and Summit Counties, all in an effort to break the cycle of abuse and help promote peace in every family."
