Medina Sunrise Rotary welcomed Delaney Hill, a Highland High School Sophomore, and her mother Erin Hill who presented our club with a Students of the Year 2019 Partnership Opportunity - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Delaney said, "An average of 3,679 children and young adults are diagnosed with leukemia each year. Our mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families."

The Students of the Year campaign is a philanthropic leadership development program through which highly motivated high school student-leaders embark on a journey of professional growth and charitable giving, ensuring that they stand out when preparing for college and beyond. During the program, studentS foster professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing and project management in order to raise awareness and funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Student leaders fundraise for LLS in honor of children who are blood cancer survivors.
